Only show new updates and remove toolbar
Is it possible to just show new updates? I get sick of seeing the same stuff scrolling across the top of my browser. I would love to be able to remove the toolbar but just have a little notification box popup similar to when you send an update. I hate extra toolbars!

Inappropriate?hi - we are adding a feature that will allow you to remove an update that you've seen before, e.g. like an [x] button. we've found that sometimes people don't notice the update the first time it gets displayed, as you are doing email, or reading a web page. does this help?

Inappropriate? For me it would be ideal if updates appeared only once, and we had a button that would drop down a list of the recent tweets (however many we have selected in "settings.") I've been a TwitterFox user for a while now, and I REALLY liked being able to scroll through and review tweets in a list.
Also, if there aren't any new tweets, just leave the most recent one displayed, because the constant scrolling can be a bit distracting :)
Another cool addition would be a "hide" button to minimize the toolbar if desired (perhaps similar to the movable button that the StumbleUpon toolbar allows for, so you can place it up near the "home" button where it doesn't kill screen space) - and perhaps enable a "new tweet" popup as Austin suggested, but only when the bar is hidden.
Oh, new idea! what about an optional "idle" timer that would pause/hide the toolbar if no tweets came in for a user defined amount of time?
Sorry for all the suggestions :) I really DO like this addon! -
Inappropriate?Hi Chad1008 - you'll be glad to hear that we've implemented your suggestion to create a mode where Friendbar only displays the most recent update! You'll be able to use it in our upcoming release (hopefully in under 2 weeks from now!). I'm finding that I use this mode a lot myself now - so thanks for the great suggestion.

Inappropriate? This was working great until i upgraded to the latest version a few days ago, and now friendbar forgets which updates i've previously closed, and keeps reloading the same one.
Did you guys release a buggy version? When will a fix be released? If its not a bug, what could be causing it to happen on my machine?
I’m annoyed

Inappropriate?Hi - thanks for the feedback. It appears that our new version doesn't hide facebook updates. We'll fix it and push a fixed version shortly.
Sorry about this!
