Inappropriate?try another browser... if your using IE try firefox if using firefox try ie ... if using chrome try using firefox etc etc
-
Inappropriate? No, tried other browsers. Definitely a problem at Lifehacker central -- the server, Apache Tomcat/5.5.23, is returning the error message, not my browser.
Full error message displayed is:
HTTP Status 404 - /
type Status report
message /
description The requested resource (/) is not available.
Apache Tomcat/5.5.23

Inappropriate?ok people, what's going on here, let me take a look, i'm not an I.T. guy but I've seen them being played in movies, let me just try this.......no, did't work, hm, but that's what he did in the movie?!
I’m silly

Inappropriate? They really need to get these problems solved. Yes, the past two days have been exceptionally bad... but I've noticed performance degrading on LH for maybe six months or so now.
Get it together, Gawker! I'm sure I'm not the only one who's visiting far less often these days... I used to visit probably a dozen times a day, now I may hit your site up once, if that. Between the site "enhancements" that make a joke out of usability (ie, hiding any unstarred commenters by default) and continuing performance problems (not to mention letting Gina go), it's just not worth spending my time loading the page half the time anymore...
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?until it's running fast again use the rss feeds here

Unfortunately, that Lifehacker feed isn't working properly either--last post was this morning's 9:30am article. It's not a solution, or even an alternative workaround, to the problem at this point.
Whole thing is on fire.
