Allow registered users to make anonymous posts.
I'd like to report a problem to a company that would involve revealing some account information. I use my real name for my account and I would like to continue using my real name but for this one post I would like to be anonymous. I saw on another post that getsatisfaction is opposed to allowing totally anonymous posting, but I think letting established users make anonymous posts might not have the same problems as letting unidentified users post anonymously. Abuses could still be linked to a user, but users could make posts without revealing important information. A specific example I have seen where this might be useful is reporting banks that don't work with mint.com; I could imagine there would be other uses as other people have also requested anonymity. Thanks for considering.

Inappropriate?Hi Keith,
Well, we actually hope to do something different but that might meet the same need. We've got plans to add private fields so that private data can be left for a company along with the public post. We recommend to never post account data publicly, even if doing it anonymously. Would that solve this issue for you?

I wasn't planning on posting any account specifics just that I was having trouble using mint with my account at a particular bank, I just thought letting people know where my account is would still be too much. Your idea would work pretty well, but in this specific case it wouldn't allow other people having trouble connecting mint with bank X to say they have the same problem, because it would only show the name of the bank to mint employees. It would let me share the complaint with mint but not other mint users. This is sort of a specific case, I wonder if there would be enough similar cases for this problem to matter. -
Ah yes, I see your point. I'll be sure to share your thoughts with the team. -
