Help Center won't stay authenticated / in sync
I setup the help center php application, and it has trouble "staying in sync" with the service.
When I visit the main help center page the list of topics seems to be out of date (sometimes 2 replies when there is 3, etc.)
Each time I log in to access the dashboard, help center has to re "authenticate" with my get satisfaction account, and the API services menu fills up with multiple keys.

I have this problem, too!
Tell me when someone solves it.

Inappropriate?Hm, that's interesting. Could you tell me what company this is occurring for? And maybe the Help Center URL, if it's public?
Also, can I make sure you're on the latest version, downloaded from the website here, rather than from Google Code? -
Yea the help center is http://help.liveforfame.com ... I downloaded a custom package from the website and even tried clearing the DB and setting up the app again, but still when I go to log in it makes me authorize again. Maybe this is a feature? I just know after I "reauthorize" new topics appear in the list.. making me think that inbetween the time it had lost its authorization and couldn't get the most recent topics -
Inappropriate? The services menu filling up is a bug in our API... we aren't yet deleting old tokens for a service when you create a new one.
I'll look into doing that today, and then you'll only ever see one 'active' token for a given API key. -
Thanks for the response! so it's just the recurring creation of keys when I log in to the help center. -
Inappropriate? Is there any update to this issue? Scott, were you able to make the changes and get them into a newer build?
I am running the latest build of Sprinkles off getsatisfaction.com and this delayed update issue is pretty big.
I've noticed if I hit some buttons like "I have this question too!" it will "kick" it and force an update but hitting refresh and clearing my cache doesn't do anything.
I am also having the re-authenticate every time I login issue.
I’m undecided

Any feedback on this? -
Inappropriate?Adam: Can you give a specific test case? Like, something I can do on your public website to see the problem?
There are apparently two issues here: One with authentication and one regarding topic data not updating.
A recent fix addressed a problem with replies not being shown, just after they were posted. Are you seeing that kind of behavior? That is, if you make a reply to a topic, does it appear immediately or fail to?
As for authentication: you say that every time you log in to view your dashboard you have to re-authenticate with Get Satisfaction. But maybe that's as it should be? Apparently enough time has passed to allow your local Help Center session to lapse; perhaps your central Get Satisfaction session has lapsed, too?
Please give me a scenario I can walk through and I'll try to debug this further. Thanks! -
Inappropriate? The new version fixed all my problems. Is there any way for registering for e-mails so I know when a new version comes out? Thanks.
I’m thankful
