Allow me to clarify one thing -- in addition to the stipulations about editing and deleting noted above, you can ONLY edit or delete your own topic post or reply.
I’m confident people will understand this is a neutral playing ground where everyone has the right to voice their opinion as long as it's not spam, innapropriate, abuse or crass commercialism.

Hi leenie, You have a 15 minute window for deleting or editing posts and you can only do so on posts that have not received a reply. However, you can flag them, add a note about why you're flagging them and they'll show up on my flag admin page. I'll then check them out and delete if appropriate.
I'm sorry this isn't clearer. We plan to make the edit/delete 15 minute window clearer soon.
FYI, we've also had a similar conversation over here.
I’m hoping this helps.

Inappropriate?Hi Amy
I also work with Leenie and were trialling out getsatisfaction for our company. When I tried to flag the post it came up with a file i had to open.\ i have a screenshot of it but basically i couldnt flag it.
I’m sad

Inappropriate? Also, is there anyway that an admin person such as myself can get an alert everytime someone has posted anything to the site? we'd need to be able to delete posts if our competitors came on & started slating us!
I’m undecided

Inappropriate?Hi nowtie5,
First of all, can you send me the screenshot (amy [at] getsatisfaction [dot] com) or post it here using the img src tag of what happened when tried to flag something? And tell me what system & browser you're on? Flagging does open up an overlay window to fill out further details but it shouldn't be asking you to open a file.
As to your second question. Right now you can get notifications on any new topics posted in your Satisfaction site, on any replies to topics you've participated in and to any replies on topics you've selected to Follow. You can also set up an RSS feed with further refinement. You can learn more about notifications here and RSS feeds here.
Now, all that being said, we do not allow anyone to delete anyone else's post or reply -- whether Admin or not. You can flag topics and replies and give an explanation in the overlay box for why you're flagging it. We review all flagged items on a regular basis and make a judgment call based on our pre-set list of deletion-worthy reasons which you can read about here.
I hope that clears things up for you.
