HTML in replies not working?
I used some HTML tags in a reply (blockquote, ol, em), but most of the tags with exception of the a href one didn't seem to work.
Update: I just noticed they aren't working in new topics either. The em tag I used was completely ignored.

Inappropriate? Thanks for the heads up on this. We'll get this addressed ASAP.

Inappropriate?Rebeca, with some experimentation, you may discover some workarounds. For example, this phrase is surrounded with <em> tags, and this phrase is surrounded with <i> tags. The former doesn't seem to work while the latter does. So that's one workaround (although distasteful to an HTML purist like me). :-)
The core problem is that the documentation of what's allowed is inconsistent with what actually is allowed. Er, what actually is allowed. ;-) -
I hadn't noticed that. Thank you for the information. I also prefer the em tag, so hopefully the tags that were supported before will continue to be supported once they've finished working on this issue. -
Inappropriate? No worries, this will all be working as before after the next deploy. Apologies for the annoyance.
