Is a webcast Audio+Video??? also if it is, is there a place you can see it via a chatroom -
Inappropriate?Yes, this is audio and video and a chat room. The time zone is Pacific. There is more information in the blog post and on the sign-up page. Hope you can make it!
-
Unfortunately, I didn't see the post about the webcast until Thursday. Was it recorded? -
-
Inappropriate?Yikes! Let me check on that ASAP. Thank you, Rachelj, for reporting this. Were you able to resubmit successfully?
-
Inappropriate?Sorry I didn't take a screenshot of the whole page, but I believe my registration *did* go through. I think it said something like, "thank you for registering" below the error section. Is there a way I can check for you? Should I have gotten a confirmation email?
-
Inappropriate?I went to the sign up page and filed in my details than it told me that i most select a company campaign. But there isn't one... Is registration necessary?
-
Inappropriate?Registration is not necessary. Just show up.
-
Hi Eric.
I had the same problem as Rachlj Above. Tho it did send -
I didn't get a confirmation message tho -
You got all of the error messages like that as well? -
Yes the same exact thing... What is the URL where the webcast will start. I believe it is starting in less than 1 hr... I think from my timezone conversion -
Sorry 8 hrs -

-

Inappropriate?I haven't received instructions on how to do log on and I registered last night. How do I sign in?
-

Inappropriate?I missed the webcast! I heard it was great, though. Is this online anywhere?
-
It will be! We'll post info as soon as it's ready. -
You're welcome! :) -
Inappropriate?I really thought the webcast was very valuable and insightful. Thanks for sharing your experience, some good examples, and some useful information.
A tip for the future...
Don't let your high quality information (and good voice and delivery) get overlooked because of a less-than-pro visual appearance. Consider adjusting the lighting so there isn't a hot spot on the background, and the presenter is better defined. I don't think you should shoot for high-end because I like the personal feel of GetSatisfaction, but you want your webcast to be seen by a bunch of people. Why not put the best foot forward? It isn't hard and it doesn't have to be expensive. It just takes a little effort.
Additionally, make the information contained in the webcast available as a separate download (PDF or as an iPaper document) so that we can actually remember and follow some of your ideas and suggestions. A nice outline or whitepaper would really enhance the value of the webcast.
Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next webcast!
Thanks,
Dave Grossman, Publisher

I’m thankful

Thanks, Dave. Great feedback. And yes, we do plan to release a PDF of my notes from the webcast. It's in the works! -
Inappropriate? Thanks! Great feedback! We definitely need to have the content downloadable or available somewhere, and your points about the production values are spot on. We can blog about it, but a downloadable PDF or even providing the actual presentation file or something similar would be much more valuable. Totally agree, and thank you for taking the time to let us know!
I’m happy
-
Inappropriate?LOL! Your Logo Fell Of The Wall behind Amy! oops, stuff always goes wrong onthe big moment!
but it was a great podcast!
al -
Thanks, Alex. I know -- pretty funny. You can be sure we stick it much more securely the next time! -
Inappropriate?Since some folks asked, I wanted to let you know that we released this presentation as an open-source document, both as Keynote and as a PDF.
Get it. Share it.
