Missing "Preview" & "Save as draft" buttons / functionality
Hi Get Satisfaction team,
I do miss a "Preview" and a "Save as draft" button, more specifically the functionality behind it.
I don't think I have to say that much about it, it should be clear, how this works.
1. Why a "Preview" button? - I do often want to look "how it looks" as an outcome, as the writing box is never exactly a preview of what you are posting, especially if you are using HTML! Additionally, I always (always!) do one fix or two after posting it. Often I look after "correct" (eye-appealing ;-)) paragraph / line breaks. This is important to me, I don't know why, maybe because I'm a orderliness-addicted perfectionist and former layouter...
2. Why "Save as draft"? - Honestly: I sometimes just want to do something else than Get Satisfaction! :D And especially when I write a long topic or reply, this is just bugging.
I mean I can copy + paste it of course everytime, but that's just one unnecessary click more! :D And additionally although I do like Microsoft OneNote, I just use it for other stuff normally...
And Evernote is somehow making me crazy, I don't like it. *lol* So anyway:
Get me a draft modus! That's more important that a blogging corner for corporations! ;-) *joke*
Ok, so far, kind regards.

Inappropriate?Hi Phillipp.
Thanks as always for all of your great ideas. I especially like the idea of having a preview button. We're working on a lot of things right now but we'll definitely keep this in the mix.
I’m thankful

Thank you too. :) -
Inappropriate?I was just going to suggest this idea. I like to know what my questions and comments are going to look like before I commit to them, especially when all changes are tracked and publicly available.
I’m glad I'm not the only one.

Inappropriate?Just wanted to add a "+1" to the comment preview idea: I know I can edit a newly posted comment for a while, but I would really like it to be "perfect" before the world can see it.
Thanks for considering it - Tobias -
Inappropriate?I just came here to suggest a comment/reply/topic Preview option. It would be particularly useful when putting HTML in.

Inappropriate? It would be great to be able to preview answers before posting them. This would be especially useful to those of us who sometimes use HTML in our answers. It would be nice to be able to fine-tune formatting before starting the clock ticking on the 15 minute edit period.

Please add the ability to preview an answer prior to posting it..
I’m hopeful you'll add this
