Unable to tie Facebook Connect identity to existing GS account
Some users are reporting an error when they try and login via Facebook Connect and then tie their identity to an existing Get Satisfaction account with an email address already in use.

Inappropriate?I get "Utc offset is invalid" when I try to login with Facebook Connect and associate my facebook login with myexisting account.
Steps to reproduce:
a) I authorize GS in facebook
b) I enter my existing GS email and password
c) I hit the submit button and get the error "utc offset is invalid".
It is cool to have this feature because this makes it a lot easier to use GS for supporting facebook applications. (We already do that but it will make login much easier for our users). I intended to make a feature request for this and now I see its already in place. I have a couple of more feature requests on facebook integration but they are out of context here... I shall add a an idea in GS later.
Thanks.

Inappropriate?I'm now getting "Utc offset is invalid" as well, as opposed to the unexpected server error.

Inappropriate?Same here. UTC invalid.

Inappropriate? Thanks for the reports, all. We should be able to fix this up quickly thanks to you.

Inappropriate? When I log in with my Facebook account for the first time, I am asked for my email address. I already have an account with GS, so I tick the box and enter my password. When I submit, a yellow box (in page / ajax) appears above the input boxes with the message:
Utc offset is invalid
Does this mean anything to you guys?! After this message appears, the login boxes remain, so I cannot login at the moment. I am based in the UK, if this helps (because that looks like a timezone message to me!)
This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
Utc offset invalid message, when associated FaceBook account.
I’m surprised

Inappropriate?Hi All,
We've written a fix for this issue and will make it live when we perform our next code rollout, either tonight or tomorrow.
Sorry for the frustration!
