what's the use of 'contacts' if you cannto contact the people in your contact list ? :)

This is a feature we haven't built out very far yet but it's designed for people to keep track of others in the community who seem to be experts or who frequently have helpful info. So in it's current state, it's really just a way for you to keep track of people you find helpful, interesting, etc..

Inappropriate?I'm with Cristian here as I too was very confused with the whole "contacts" which are not contacts at all really.

Inappropriate?I visited my "contacts" page just now. I was looking at it and looking at it, and one thought kept popping out - it was: "I wanna say "hi" to these guys! how do I do that?!"
I think I remember GS saying that "social" stuff isn't what you had in mind when you thought up this contacts feature - but it's been a long time now and I still can't do anything with my contacts list (except look at it and look at it).
Do you need any help thinking this through a little more?
