RSS-Reader for Google Reader in Chrome
If not building an own reader into Google Chrome. At least the Browser should be able to add the URL to an online Reader (e.g. Google Reader). Today its to complicated to subscribe an RSS-Feed.

Inappropriate? This is an absolute must. I'm thinking about starting to use Google Chrome instead of Firefox, because unlike Firefox, Chrome doesn't eat my memory up like a pie right out of the oven, and it requires less CPU power too. However, I will NOT change browser until I find one with a built-in (not a 3rd party plugin) equally good or better RSS reader and manager.
If you ask me, you should make this a priority.
I’m right here!

this is one of the best points

Inappropriate?Yes! Yes! Yes! I'm using Chrome about 50% of the time. I was using it as my default browser, just too many features missing, and this is one of them.
-
Inappropriate? The only reason I am still using firefox, is because Crome can't read RSS feeds
-
Inappropriate?I think the Chrome browser should be user friendly with Google Services, such as Gmail, Doc, Calendar and GReader. I know that we could use iGoogle as a default home page. Anyway, it would be great if they could work on it ... so i can use Chrome more because Firefox is really eating up the memory a lot and cause the computer slowness...
I’m concerned

I disagree, although I wouldn't be shocked if that happened. All I want is to be able to browse the web and read RSS-feeds, preferably without using Google Reader, which I really dislike. Firefox has the best implementation of RSS feed reading and management out there, imho, and I would really like to see this integrated into Chrome as well. -
Inappropriate? This is important to me as well. I'm currently using the Brief add-on for Firefox for RSS reading and will need something similar to move over to Chrome (which I otherwise love). Note that SaaS solutions (such as Google's reader) won't work for me as I use RSS to monitor several inside the firewall information sources.

Inappropriate?Does it support Google Reader? Because I use Google Reader as my default.
-
Inappropriate?Get version from the dev channel and install TPGoogleReader - http://code.google.com/p/tpgooglereader/
-
Inappropriate?Google Reader won't even load with my current version of Chrome.
-
Did you update to version 4.0? For me Google Reader works fine under it.... If the problem persists, don't hesitate to start a separate thread about it and show us a screenshot.
Maybe we can help you out :) -
Inappropriate?I wouldn't mind having an RSS reader in Chrome, as long as it comes as an addon and isn't there by default - the idea is to have a fast browser with the least amount of clutter.
... If Chrome would have an RSS reader I wouldn't use it - I do use Google Reader, it's sufficient because it can go to my Igoogle page.
I’m mellow

Inappropriate?Chrome should show rss feeds in a google reader style frame, regardless of if someone has a google reader account, if they do however, there should be a "Subscribe to this feed" button.
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate? It's a shame how Google can't integrate Google Reader into Chrome. All I do is to fire up firefox and paste the RSS link there and read....

Inappropriate? They just added it to the "beta" version of Chrome via the Extensions index at chromeextensions.org. It's clean and works well.
-
Inappropriate? That could be interesting. I get they could send the feed URL to Google Reader and preview it that way. No need to implement this within the application.
