Plea for permissions per Task/Milestone/Discussion within projects

Further to this comment by Battlegate...

GoPlan is a real boon for distributed project teams typically comprising an account owner (party 1), their client (party 2), and their suppliers (parties 3).

There are, however, many occasions when tasks, milestones and discussions need to be agreed/managed between 2 of the parties but without the 3rd knowing. Consider the following example...

  • FrontEnd is a supplier to WebShop.

  • WebShop is the GoPlan account owner and supplier to their client, Widgets Inc.

  • FrontEnd attends client meetings and conducts correspondence with Widgets Inc, but acting as a WebShop staff member.

  • WebShop, Widgets Inc, FrontEnd and other suppliers to WebShop all make use of a project space at https://webshop.goplanapp.com/widgets to collaborate.

  • WebShop and FrontEnd need to use the same Go Plan project space to agree and manage their own client/supplier tasks and milestones without Widgets Inc or other project suppliers being able to see that those items exist or to view their details.

So far, the lack of such granular permissions is the only major downside to GoPlan's otherwise very elegant and intuitive UI. It would be great if it could be addressed and soon!
