in the preferences section there is an applications tab. it says "You dont have any applications authorized." but i want to.

Inappropriate?Great question, and great timing! The application menu is for people who use applications built with our Goplan API. Whenever you use and authorize an application that requires data from Goplan, it will be listed on the Applications tab (so that you can revoke access at any time).
We just released one of such applications - a widget for mac users, that helps them use our time tracking functionality without ever hitting the browser. There's more information about all this (both the API and the widget) here.
