DUPLICATES [enter to be sorted]

Wanted to enter this in that one duplicate topic that has quite a few posts, but couldn't find it. Hoping to make this one the defacto "Please Delete Duplicate" thread (of course, not a critical thing, just would like to see one central repository for such things).

With major events such as Austin City Limits, inside a city with a tremendous number of spots, duplicates are bound to happen, especially if the player doesn't know to narrow their search in the spot they are in to ensure they aren't about to create a duplicate. That said, however, the GPS can sometimes deceive the player and "hide" a spot, despite it's Featured status.

I don't envy the clean up after major events in large (and heavily Gowalla'd) cities such as this. Especially when the duplicates are those cool icons of the town. Would like to think there is a way to transfer a check in to the appropriate locations.
