MiSSing Crush It! item
"Crush It" book item. We had a great time at the Gary Vee event and picked up the Crush It! spot while also running into other Gollallites (Geoff Brown, Rob Bracket, Dave Bedingfield) but I noticed I didn't receive my Crush It Book item. Was this a bug .. was everybody that checked in supposed to get the item?

Mike: We actually didn't do an event at American University--we didn't have the information in time on where the actually event was going to be on campus.
We're so glad you're on Gowalla, and hope it you really enjoy our service. As a general rule, for all limited-issue stamps/events, we're not issuing them past the limited date. There are definitely some Crush It's in the wild, so keep your eyes open. And be alert: more events and time-limited items are coming! -

I had gone to the second Crush It! stop in Austin and got the Beatnik Poet. Reported it, but hadn't seen a fix. Not sure what's going on with it now.

Inappropriate?I had this issue too. And so did my friend jasonjones (that's his username).
I can show you a screenshot of the my gowalla account proving the checkin. In fact (this is directed to alamofire), i came up to your office the night of the event in austin. Couple weeks back.

Inappropriate?I left dinner with friends early to get to the Crush It! event at R. J. Julia in Madison, CT tonight. I was a little late and missed the beginning of Gary's talk, but very much enjoyed the part I caught. I also checked in with Gowalla, excited for my limited-edition stamp & Crush It book, and was "crushed" when I didn't get anything upon checking in! I was the only one to check in tonight, too, so I *really* think that deserves something!
I’m sad that I didn't get cool new stuff for my passport tonight!

Inappropriate?I'm still missing it even though i checked in at the book signing. i even went inside, walked upstairs, saw the long line of people wanting the book signed, and then walked out, but i was there!
