Posting to Facebook hit and miss
App is hit and miss on whether it posts to your Facebook wall or not. I'm signed in and connected with Facebook. Sometimes it works...sometimes it doesn't.

Inappropriate?We've heard this before from a couple other people. Honestly we're not sure what is causing it. We'll try to reproduce the bug and squash it, but so far we're hitting dead ends on this one!
I’m gonna throw Facebook under the bus on this one.

Josh, if you want I can help you guys locate this problem. I've got the problem too even in the new iPhone app I'm not able to post. Send me an E-Mail with a few times you guys are available and then we hook up a Skype connection to nail this issue down!

Inappropriate?I just downloaded Gowalla. It is not working or posting on Facebook. I deleted the Facebook application and redid everything again. The "post on Facebook" stays grayed out and I can't choose it. Gowalla posts to Twitter just fine. Am I doing something wrong? Is this the same problem (grayed out "post on Facebook" slider)? -

Inappropriate?I've deleted the app, reinstalled it, removed the Facebook connection on the site, added it again... nothing — The post to Fbook on/off switch is always grayed out when I try to check in at a spot.

Inappropriate?Signing in to Facebook using the button in the iPhone application did the job for me! Now I'm able to post to Facebook as well.

There is an Facebook connect icon visible at the bottom of the check in screen where you can select to post to both Twitter and Facebook.

Yes, I did that. I was able to move the Facebook switch to on, then check in. The problem is it never shows up on my Facebook page. It worked back on Nov. 13. Since then, no updates show up.

This is where I am at as well Frank. I am beginning to wonder if it is related to our privacy settings?
@Martin, would you mind noting if you have certain privacy settings in place?

As for myself, I have nearly everything set to "Friends Only" which includes: apps, photos, vids, notes, etc... all of it.
Edit: I ought to note that it wasn't until this evening that I was able to get the Facebook slider to come "out of the gray". I accomplished this by logging off Facebook both on my iPhone and computer. Then logged in on iPhone. I also logged out of Gowalla.com

Sure - I have "Friends Only" for most things as well. But, when you are connected with FB in Gowalla, it should have access. I checked all the settings in FB for Gowalla and all looks ok. Just no posts...
