Want to get my Facebook friends onboard with Gowalla : )
Trying to get my Facebook friends onboard with Gowalla! : ) I want to invite them via my iPhone Gowalla app. When I click on the "Find Facebook Friends" the page loads and no one shows up even though I do have a mutual Gowalla/Facebook friend. Tried the Gowalla website to invite Facebook friends, and the Facebook button doesn't work. Please let me know how to invite friends without having to use email.

Inappropriate?Yea, this would be a great addition! You shouldn't have to message them, it should be automated. I've already invited all 68 of my friends in the "Facebook for iPhone" group, but it would be nice to allow automated invites.

Automated invites are not a bad idea, but we definitely want to make sure we don't set-up something where we're spamming your friends, either actually, or just in a perceived way.

I did follow the tutorial, but didn't realize my friends on Facebook already had to be using Gowalla. I want to send specific Facebook friends (not the entire Friend List) an invitation to join Gowalla. I was hoping that there was some sort of invitation I could send from Gowalla thru Facebook. Other games/apps I use in Facebook give the option of inviting without having to email. examples: Mafia Wars, Farmville
