All friends automatically seeing questions wagered on?
I don't like this new feature. If I wanted friends or anyone else seeing questions I wager on I alreeady have the option of making what predictions I choose public or not. To automatically make all questions I wager on available to friends only has me tempted to dump my friends. Maybe I don't want all my friends knowing what questions I wager on?
I for one do not like this new feature. There is already the option to make predictions public or not. I do not understand the automatic feature of making all predictions open to friends list. If it is not change I won't be having friends as privacy is more important.

Inappropriate?Friends don't have access to any more information than any other users on predictions which you have kept private, which is to say that the fact that you made a prediction on a market is available, and the amount you predicted, but not what your prediction was.

Inappropriate?Thats the point. Maybe I do not want "friends" seeing what questions I make predictions on. Not everyone can see my predictions unless I chose to make it public, but the new feature allows all friends to see questions I predict on.
This is not good.
1 - I might not anyone knowing what questions I play
2 - If I find a question, predict, I might want as few as possible monitoring so I can either cash out with minimal loss, or predict more as news comes out in the days/weeks ahead. With all friends seeing questions u predict on this won't be possible.
3 - This will limit friends I have as I enjoy my privacy and like to choosewhenand if I make predictions public. This is impossible now that all "friends" can see what questions I predict on.

This is exactly what I do not like. I do not want all on "friends" list knowing what questions I am predicting on.

Inappropriate?Hey both, sorry to hear you don't like the new feature, we were attempting to make Hubdub a more social experience, so you can enjoy seeing what friends are predicting on and start a discussion around their predictions. You can still choose to make a prediction private, and in this case friends will not see the option you selected (albeit that that can actually help game play, because other users following your predictions increases your prediction's worth).

Inappropriate?Ok folks, after some feedback here and elsewhere we've made the change so that private predictions are not shown at all on the question page. Thanks for your thoughts, I hope this shows we do listen to and value your input when building the site.

I wasn't making any predictions until this was changed. If after a few days it wasn't, I was either going to dump all my friends to maintain some sort of privacy or not participate at hubdub anymore. I am glad to see this was a short lived trial. -
