How does someone tell how appreciative they are of your product?
Friday evening on my way into NYC I left my cell phone and keys on the roof of my car. I drove off not realizing what I had done. About a mile from my home I heard two thuds on the roof of my car. I stopped my car. Got out and found my keys on the roof of my car. No cell phone. I searched the general area with no luck. I went back to my home hoping I would find the cell phone at home. No luck. I went back to the location where I thought it might have fallen off the car without any luck in finding the cell phone. I decided to go into the city and try again later in the evening to search for the phone.
At dinner my son told me that I might be able to track the phone using an AT&T application. After several attempts of signing up for the service at AT&T I was able to get a general idea (within a radius of 450 yards) of where the phone my be. That was encouraging so I went out at midnight in the rain to attempt to find my phone. No luck again. I searched again online three more times on Saturday. The location of the phone was moving around each time I tried to locate it but each time I tried I went out again in the rain and tried to find the phone. Still no luck. One good thing was that the battery was still active and the phone was still ringing before it went to voicemail.
I thought I would try one more time Sunday morning. When I looked online for the phone Sunday morning, the radius was about 25 yards from where I originally thought the phone flew off of the car. I went out one final time to look for the cell phone. I walked past where I thought it went off the car and across the street. This was my last time to look for the phone. I looked down and there was the phone, face down with my black Incipio case protecting it.
What I think happened was the phone was on the roof of the car and the thuds were the phone falling off the back of the car roof onto the trunk of the car. When I looked up and found my keys I didn't think to look on the trunk for my cell. Previously I left my cell on the roof of the car and drove from Tribecca in NYC to 23rd street and 3rd Avenue. I went to make a call and realized I left it on the roof. I rolled down the window, put my hand on the roof and there was my cell phone. The case made the phone stay on the car roof so I didn't think that the phone might be on the trunk this time. I made a U-turn to go back to my home and the phone must have fallen off the trunk and landed on the other side of the street.
The phone was in the rain under a parked car most of the time. I was very lucky that it wasn't run over by the parked car getting in and out of the parking spot. Although I am not sure that your case wouldn't have protected it. The phone did not have a scratch on it. The case is bruised from its flight from my car to the street. I am eternally grateful that your company has this fantastic protective case for my I Phone.
Thanks, Thanks, Thanks,
