Adding javascript snippet gets me "Opps! (2)"
I am trying to add the javascript snippet at my site (doesn't use any standard blog system, it is home-made and hadn't any commenting abilities till now).
When I add it I get an "Opps! (2)" where I put it (below article). Also after I press "Finish" back to the Intense Debate "add javascript snippet" page, it redirects me to "http://intensedebate.com/editacct/0" and displays "Invalid account. Your accountid is invalid.".

Inappropriate? When this happened to my WP blog, it was because my plugin download was corrupted.
Perhaps try reinstalling the script? (There is an option in your site Dashboard)
-
Inappropriate?I think that the problem is deeper as after I press finish, it doesn't save it to my dashboard (instead, I get the second error I've reported above). I have also checked that I have the correct snippet and doesn't seem to be corrupted when I see the HTML output.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?I have the same problem installing the javascript snippet on my home-made site. 'Oops(2)'
-
Does it save at your dashboard or you also have the same problem as me and you have to add it each time? -
Inappropriate? Thanks for reported this. I apologize for the frustration. Installing IntenseDebate on a custom blog usually requires our handy-work to troubleshoot unforeseen issues.
Saxtus & buzzcritic - what is the URL of your blog? If you're using a blog template, could you please send it to me?
I appreciate your patience as we work t get this all sorted out.
Sincerely,

Inappropriate?It worked fine now.
When localization support is added as well as different charset support (I am Greek), I will use it.
I’m unconcerned
-
Hmm, didn't notice that it does not allow Greek chars. I'll try it out as well -
They are supported on the target site but get distorted on intensedebate.com if target site use custom charset instead of Unicode. -
Language support is on our list. We'll have it in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience.
