Comments import in Wordpress redirects to logout
Hi, I'm using the latest IntenseDebate Wordpress plugin in Wordpress 2.8.2. As soon as I click "Start Importing Comments" I get logged out and I'm asked to enter my IntenseDebate login details again. Is this supposed to happen or is it a bug?

Inappropriate?Hi there, are you using a free web host by any chance? That sounds like a bug we've seen where your web host is configured so that we are not able to make connections directly between your blog and intensedebate.com, which is how the import process works.
We're looking to add something to the plugin that will detect that and give you some more options, but don't have a reliable way of doing it just yet.
If you're not on a free host, it's still possible that your webhost has blocked server to server connections via PHP, so you might want to check with them and see if that is the case, and if there's any way they could allow it for you. -

Inappropriate?Some of our other users are making use of our generic install code on free hosts, since they can't use the WordPress plugin. Here are 2 threads discussing that approach:
