Comments not syncing from WordPress to IntenseDebate, even though settings are set to sync.
I've recently had a few users comment using the Wordpress comment form and even though my settings are set to sync these comments to IntenseDebate, they don't seem to have done so. It seems that ID doesn't even know that they exist.
I've recorded a video to show what I mean in case my problem is unclear.

Inappropriate? The users having the problem have stopped commenting and have resorted to commenting directly to me via @replies on twitter. Those are the ones I knew before they commented, I dread to think how many may have tried and given up that I do not know about.
I appreciate that you may have other problems to sort out but the longer this problem is going on, the more it deters people from commenting on my blog. -
Inappropriate?Sorry about your trouble. Can you please let me know a post or two that has been affected so that I can investigate this further on my end?
Thanks in advance....and nice video ;-) -
This is the post that I showed in my video. http://articulatedsky.com/2009/02/18/... -
Inappropriate? It looks like I encountered the same bug. I found one of the comments on a recent post shows up in the Wordpress dashboard, but it doesn't show up in the comments. Not on Intense Debate nor on my blog.
Screenshot from the dashboard (3th comment in the list is not showing up):

I would be very pleased with some help, as I can't figure out how to set this straight myself.
I’m confused

Inappropriate? My comments are syncing to intense debate, however they are not showing up in the intense debate overview dashboard.
Is this a problem in the ID side? -
Inappropriate?I just installed ID on my WordPress site today and have this exact problem. Also, only the first comment is showing up on each post. Not sure if the 2 problems are related but thought I'd mention it in case one affects the other.

Inappropriate?Egads, I'm having his issue as well on my blog site. I can see the comments posted on my WordPress blog dashboard, but they are not showing up on my blog. Help.

Inappropriate?I'm having this problem as well. I've tried to sync my comments, but now they have all disappeared from comment history even though they show up on the blog and the dashboard of my blog. Only one posts appears in ID and it is a comment which was made after I installed the program. My blog address is below.

Thank you for your help.
I’m worried.

IntenseDebate UN: beyourart
Also, in settings it has been saying "Import in progress..." for about eight hours while being stuck on 0%. -
Did you see the update to the release post about the new plugin? (http://blog.intensedebate.com/2009/04...). Basically, there was a bug in 2.1 which should now be fixed in 2.1.1. If you install the new version and reset the plugin, everything should import properly now. -
Inappropriate? Is anyone from IntenseDebate going to comment on this thread? I'd like to know what's going on and why these problems occur.
-
Inappropriate?Yeah it looks like ID is not paying attention to their own 'getsatisfaction' account. So much time has passed since Automattic purchased ID and not a peep has been heard about the plans to integrate it into the WP core, in addition to the plugin not being updated.
-
If I remember right, no one ever said ID would be integrated into the WP core. The ID plugin however, was just updated as you wrote your comment. But your are right, the support here isn't very good at all. Only Michael Koenig seems to try to answer some questions and help with some problems frequently, but maybe there are just to many user for him?
