Enable voting for commenters who log in via Twitter and Facebook Connect
Please enable voting for commenters who log in via Twitter and Facebook Connect.
Once a commenter logs in via Twitter or Facebook, they still are not able to vote thumbs up or down on other users' comments. Logging in twice makes no sense logically and eliminates the convenience of Facebook and Twitter Connect.
This is not an efficient way to get more users to use your service. The message simply says "Sorry, you must be logged in to vote," which confuses users who have already logged in through Twitter or Facebook. It gives no indication of how to log in to vote and implies that the user is not logged in when in fact they are.

Inappropriate? Also, if the site admin disables rating comments, shouldn't sorting comments by rating also be disabled?

this is one of the best points

Inappropriate?I really think that not-idc-logged users not being able to vote is the biggest reason why not many votes are being cast.
I would thus also like to suggest the option of allowing anonymous voting as well, perhaps as an option to be enabled from the settings page. Such votes of course should not affect one's reputation. -
Inappropriate?yes. i want this to

Inappropriate? This is a big, big issue. Makes no sense not to be able to vote. Huge turn off from the product ! Actually makes the voting irrelevant
-
Inappropriate?Agreed, we must be able to vote using Facebook/Twitter connect.
