I can't log-in to post comments in Safari
When I try to log-in to IntenseDebate to post comments on my blog in Safari, I get redirected to http://www.intensedebate.com/login and then back to my entry without being logged in (I don't get that logging in message or anything, just instantly redirected to that URL and then back to me entry). However, when I tried this in Firefox, it worked brilliantly. I'm using Mac OS X.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide! :)

Inappropriate? Thanks for getting in contact. We're aware of this issue. It has to do with the latest version of Safari not liking 3rd party cookies setting cookies by JavaScript scripts. We're working on a solution.
In the meantime could you please use Firefox? I realize that this isn't ideal and I apologize for the inconvenience.
All the best,
Michael -
Inappropriate?Hi Michael,
Oh, thanks for clarifying! :) Not a problem. Is there some way I can get a notification once it's been fixed? -
We'll post on our blog when we have a solution. Thanks for your patience. -
Inappropriate?"In the mean time"? Do you guys work at all? I just got this same copy & paste reply from you a couple of days ago, but this has been reported ages ago, and I thought it was something that started happening just days ago. So we'll have to wait months for it to be fixed?!?!?
My site is Apple-orientated, a lot of people use Safari. This is awful for me and even worse for Automattic/Intense Debate. You can't know how many people WON'T be installing ID in their blogs just because of all these problems I'm having in MacMagazine.com.br. -
Are you still encountering this issue? We've had mixed feedback over the past week where some users report that it's no longer an issue for them. We have received a few reports that it persists. Let me know. -
Inappropriate?Yeah, I just reported it to you an hour ago. I've got lots of reports from my users and even from my team who use Safari (I myself use Firefox) and they can't login and/or IntenseDebate won't save their login credentials.
-
Can you have them try logging in at http://intensedebate.com first and then see if the issue persists? -
Inappropriate? It does persist. They also hinted that the "Login" button behavior might help you find the problem. In Firefox, it doesn't reload the whole page.
-
Inappropriate?any updates on this problem? Is it something that Apple or the webkit team needs to fix?
-
Inappropriate?Any updates on this issue? I will not be using Safari so my solution will be to remove Intensedebate.
