Unfortunately I haven't used SquareSpace before and I don't know what it allows or not. If it doesn't allow javascript for example, there's not much that can be done.

From what I can tell, SquareSpace does allow javascript. I just wasn't able to place the script in the right location. For example, I was able to place it in the header and footer of the blog, as well as in each individual post, but none of those options seemed very workable.
If anybody can help, I'd be much obliged!
