Installed the WP plugin, but Intense Debate is not displaying on my blog

I created an Intense Debate account by logging in with openID and then followed the directions to install the WordPress plugin on my blog. After activating the plugin, I went to the settings page, which asked me to login to Intense Debate. It wouldn't take my openID login info, so I used my username and passkey instead, which seemed to work. The plugin seemed to go through the setup steps successfully. Now there are a bunch of links that say "Edit your blog settings on IntenseDebate.com" and such, but whenever I click them it says "Invalid Account" or "Error. You must specify an account/blog to view this page." My Intense Debate dashboard also says, "You have not installed Intense Debate on any blogs yet." My original WP commenting system is still in place on my site, too. No Intense Debate there. Not sure what the deal is.

I'm using WP 2.7.1 and Intense Debate plugin version 2.0.18.

Oh, and when I click on "Comments" in the WP Admin area, I get this error: "Cannot load intensedebate.php"

Also, the notification won't go away in the WP Admin area: "The IntenseDebate plugin is enabled but you need to adjust your settings" even though I already have.

Any help, please?

Sorry for the delay. I checked our database and an account for your blog was never created so it was never tied to your user account.

Please remove the plugin completely. Then login to your account at http://intensedebate.com/logmein. Then please reinstall the plugin using our install process at http://intensedebate.com.

I think this might have been caused by the userkey not being tied to your account somehow. Have you set a password for your account? If you have can you use your username and password to configure your account after you install the plugin?

If you don't have a password please email me at info@intensedebate.com and include your username and a link to this Get Satisfaction case.

I apologize for the inconvenience. We'll get this figured out.

I guess the issue is that I created my account using openID, so no, I don't have a password for Intense Debate. Could you delete my account so I can recreate it by registering for your site?

I'm having a similar problem. Every time I try to login to Intense Debate from my Wordpress dashboard--I get the "login failed message.

I've tried entering my password... I've tried entering my user key(which I also reset a few times) nothing is working.

Please help me--I can't wait to use the plugin
