IntenseDebate without Outgoing Connection for Free Hosting Providers
Is it possible you can design a way to install IntenseDebate on blogs without the need for IntenseDebate on the blog to make a connection from the hosting server to the IntenseDebate server.
This requires outgoing connections to be allowed, which is forbidden on most if not all free hosting services due to security reasons.
I know there is the generic install system, but to be honest I don't understand how to install it on my WordPress blog. And I can't use the WordPress plugin because the plugin needs to make this outgoing connection.
Those of us using free hosting providers are all experience this Redirecting back to login loop problem and we need a workable solution.

Inappropriate?Because of some reason, I can't post a long reply. So, click here for a quick guide on how to replace the comments in WordPress with the generic install.

Thanks for going to the trouble of explaining this for us. I'll give it a try -
No problem Stephen. My blog has two languages using qTranslate so I had to work out how to do it for that reason :)
