Issues with OpenID 1.0 Relying Parties: Unable to login
I have set up my account, and am using ClaimID as my OpendID provider. http://claimid.com/tylermac. When I use this URL I get back a message "Your openid url appears to be invalid. Please try again."
It appears that your OpendID does not support openid Relying Parties. This allows us to add a redirect into a page to an openid server. The following code is found at my openid:
<!-- OpenID Server and Delegation. Use your ClaimID to log in to OpenID websites -->
<meta />
<link href="https://openid.claimid.com/server" rel="openid.server" />
<link href="https://openid.claimid.com/tylermac" rel="openid.delegate" />
More information can be found in the specification here. http://openid.net/specs/openid-authen....section.14.2.1

Inappropriate?This might explain why it does not recognise my own OpenID from my own domain which has myopenid.com as a relying party
-
Inappropriate?Tyler, I'm not sure how this happened, but somehow your case slipped through. I apologize for the extremely long delay of my response. It really is unacceptable.
We were experiencing OpenID issues when you submitted this support case. We have since corrected the issue. Are you still experiencing this problem?
Please let me know. Again, I apologize for the delay.

Inappropriate?For my part, I still cannot login with openID. I get:
Oops
It seems you don't have an accout yet. You need to signup first.

Thanks. Which openid provider do you use? -
?? I said that above. myopenID (as a relying party.) -
Oops. My bad. Thanks. -
Just out of curiosity, have you added your OpenID to your ID account at http://intensedebate.com/editprofile? Please let me know. -
Yeap -
Inappropriate?Do you use a redirect? If you do, then you should put the url redirected to (ie the claimid url) instead of the blog url. We'll be changing this in the future.
Please let me know.

Inappropriate?Michael yes, that's what relying means.
In order to make it work like you say, I need to change my openid url in my settings to db0.myopenid.com and also login like that.
However people logging in like that will show the wrong url. For example I use my own domain as openID because I want it to show that on the comment.
Anyway, I can wait until you fix it. For me it's not urgent but it's good to know that relying does not work. -
Thanks. We're adding this to our list.
Separate issue, but in regards to the loading issue we're doing some serious legwork today to figure out what's going on with it. I'll keep you posted.
