Submit and Cancel buttons b0rked
Just reported by a user and noticing it myself. It seems than often when one tries to reply to a thread, the "submit" and "cancel" buttons one would use to do it are formatted as plain white circles (at least in firefox 3.5) which makes it look like they're not there. See screenshot

Inappropriate?Hi db0 -- this should be fixed already, but please do let us know if you see it again anywhere.
This happened while we were preparing parts of the ID comment system for translation/internationalization, and they were temporarily translated into... nothing :(
Our humble apologies that this made it out to you and your users.

Ah OK, I thought it must be something temp from the way it happened. -
Inappropriate?Unfortunately it is not fixed. It keeps happening.

Inappropriate? We just got another report of this happening as well db0 -- if you don't mind, a few questions:
1. what browser are you using
2. what URL are you seeing it happen at
3. how are you logged in (ID, Twitter, etc)
Thanks! -
Inappropriate?1. Firefox 3.5
2. There's one URL above but last time it happened here
3. Logged in with IDC but a user not logged in at all reported the same (see screenshot above) -
Inappropriate?Hmmm I can't for the life of me reproduce this. I've tried every combination of logged in/not logged in, reply to another comment, post a new comment etc that I can come up with but I always get the correct buttons showing.
I'll keep trying, and if/when I spot it I'll figure out what's causing it. In the meantime I've cleared some caches on your blog (db0), so it's possible that will clear out any remaining problems if they were still around from when we temporarily had that bug. -
I actually get this pretty regularly. If I remember correctly, I mostly see this after I've replied to a comment. Once this is done, the next reply box I try to open usually has the buttons b0rked. Feel free to make some test comments if you want (just let me know when you're done and I'll delete them, or do it yourself) -
Inappropriate?Got it db0, and I'm able to reproduce -- thanks for that info. Now to track down a fix for it ;)
