Inappropriate?Unfortunately we currently do not offer IntenseDebate in other languages. We will support other languages in the future.
Thanks for your patience.

Inappropriate? Thanks! ;) I'm glad to see that ID cares about other languages! The sooner the better!
Thanks again!
I’m thankful
-
Inappropriate?I would love to translate this into Bangla. Please announce localization soon
I’m hopeful
-
Inappropriate? Thanks Ehab. We're still a while away from language support. I apologize for the inconvenience. I'll keep you posted.
Sincerely,
Michael
-
Inappropriate?Actually, it would be really great if just let the users translate the sentences they need to (like they do it at polldaddy.com - you have the English template, and then you can translate everything yourself. And Feedburner does it, too).
IntenseDebate is really cool, but my blog is in French and the English comment form looks a bit odd for people who do not speak English.
I’m frustrated
-
Very good suggestion, give us the freedom! -
I love the suggestion. Let me chat with the team and see if we can put something together for this. I know Isaac, our Swedish designer, would be glad to have it! -
Ok, I chatted with the team and unfortunately we don't offer a way to do this right now. But we're looking into it for the future. Please stay tuned... Thanks -
Ah... :( -
Inappropriate?Well, this is such a pity. Without that, good service. But really, guys, you gotta get international!!! You have like 10 sentences to translate, is it really that difficult?!
I’m sad
-
And we don't ask them to do the translation either, just provide us the tools!
I guess it's difficult to implement at this stage... -
I understand your frustration. It's a good deal of work for us to build the tools to enable you to translate. We will have it. -
Inappropriate?I want translate IntenseDebate into ukrainian, becouse more of my readers don`t understand English (. Can you contact me when it function was ready?
(http://ged.org.ua/ - all contact here) -
According to the devs, they will provide us the tools to translate it ourselves in the future. It will be nice to be multilingual so users of the same blog can see it on the language they prefer (instead of what the blog owner prefer) -
Inappropriate?Hi,
First im not a IntenseDebate employee, ok ? Just an user!
You feel it is a 10 sentences translate job ?
You forget the overhead of new users, all website documents must be translated to each new language...
You have to get new persons to support it
They should change server propably...
And finally ... maintain this service free.....
It is a ruge work to do.....
And really English is an worldwide language

That's why we expect the tools to do the translation ourselves. -
Inappropriate?I'd like to see ID in portuguese too.
To start, the Control Panel is not needed, just the forms.
If you need some help w/ the translation, you can count on me!
Tks! -
Check out http://www.polldaddy.com/ (another company acquired by Automattic recently). It give you the tools to translate the output yourself. They didn't allowing that in the past if I recall correctly. Might be what they planning to do for IntenseDebate too... -
Inappropriate?imho translation is urgently needed in the blog-output (user-pages and suport on ID can wait) but things like "report" or "reply here" should be translatable by now.
-
Inappropriate? Please! Add the translate feature! We need it all!!! Your service is... really good... when translation works... don't believe that english is the one-and-only language on earth, men! there are other big languages!
I’m a little pissed
-
I apologize for the frustration. We plan to have language support in the future. I know this isn't the response that you were hoping for - again my apologies. -
Inappropriate? It's been 8 months since the first request — come on guys, are you working on this? It doesn't matter it's a free service, I'd pay for quality and features, if necessary.
Let us translate at least the forms of ID, the admin panel is not worrying. -
Unfortunately we can't open ID up for translation just yet as we're still in the process of changing our UI. Enabling translations in the comment sections will create some potentially serious problems whenever we push changes to the UI and will only further delay the arrival of language support. No ETA yet - my apologies. -
Inappropriate?Would love to see Intense Debate going international! Keep up the awesome work!
-
Inappropriate?Hi! We just posted this on our blog - http://blog.intensedebate.com
IntenseDebate is open for translation! That’s right, you can finally translate IntenseDebate into your own language! Localization is by far the most requested feature, and we’re extremely excited to open up the debate.
But you can’t flip the switch just yet. We need your help! This is a call for all Iñtërnâtiônàlizætiønër’s. While we continue working on our own translations, we’re also looking for all of you brilliant multilingual folks out there to lend us a hand and help translate IntenseDebate. If you’re interested please email us at labs@intensedebate.com and we’ll send you instructions. Once we’ve got a few translations we will make them available, and you’ll be able to activate them in your IntenseDebate blog account. Please keep an eye out for future posts detailing our progress.
Thanks!
