Different time zones on my calendar events
All of my calendar events have been getting seemingly random timezones for the last two (?) days. It doesn't seem to matter if I create the event via email, "Write to Sandy" on the web site, or directly editing the event on the site. Any ideas as to what I should check? (I've already looked at my Time Zone setting, and it's correct.)

Inappropriate?Jim,
If you don't mind, what is your timezone setting?
Thanks,

Inappropriate?Yeah this has become a real problem for me too. I'm getting my morning update at 5 in the afternoon.... my 11pm reminder came in at noon today. My timezone is Singapore.... tried switching to Hong Kong which is the same but no diff. Still messed up. This didn't used to me an issue. Also my daily doesn't create daily reminders anymore... not sure if linked but problem happened at same time.

Inappropriate?I think we might've figured it out. We're testing it and will try to get the fix out later today (Saturday).

Inappropriate?"America - Los Angeles"

Inappropriate?Great! I'll be out most of the day, but I'll be sure to check it when I get back tonight.

Inappropriate?Okay, it should be fixed now. Given the randomness of the issue, please let me know if it happens to you again.
Thanks,
Marshall

Inappropriate?Hey Marshall,
That's getting better. All my new/edited events are showing UTC timezone now. That's fine by me, since I have a UTC clock on my desk. (Sandy does seem to be converting my local timezone to UTC correctly.) My guess is that events are now stored in UTC? Anyway, if the events' display (calendar, edit, etc) could be converted back to local timezone that would be ideal.
FWIW, if I explicitly specify my local timezone on the event, it gets displayed with that timezone instead of UTC.
I’m happier than I was

Inappropriate? It's happening again. Was OK for a little while but now getting random timezone plus date format messed up.

Inappropriate?Actually the timezone isn't random... it's converting new entries to UTC whereas my existing calendar entries are in SGT.

Inappropriate?Hey guys,
Everything should be all straightened out now. The problem yesterday was masking this UTC one.
Thanks for your patience,
Marshall -
Inappropriate?Everything looks pretty good now. The only problem I'm still having is some of the events I edited earlier--they seem to be coming up with the UTC time but without the UTC timezone, i.e. they've been moved up 8 hours (my UTC offset) earlier. I've fixed all of them manually, so no worries.
I’m glad it seems to be fixed!

Inappropriate?I'm in the GMT-2 timezone. I sent an email to Sandy asking for a reminder at 2:55 PM, and I received the reminder correctly at the time specified. However, if I look at the reminder on the calendar at iwantsandy.com, the time is displayed at 6:55 PM. The reminder was OK, but the wrong time is confusing.

Inappropriate?I am running into a similar problem.
Sandy is recording my times currently and sending my emails at the appropriate times; however, my google calendar is displaying the incorrect times.
I live in New Orleans, LA. My google calendar is set to the central time zone and sandy is set for Center, N.D.
Thanks for any help!
