not getting some sms and email reminders
yesterday and today I failed to receive some (maybe all) of my sms reminders. This morning I have not received either email or sms reminders for one particular appointment.

Inappropriate?I've been experiencing this as well. It is very troubling as I thought I could count on Sandy to remind me of things. If I can't fully trust Sandy to remind me then I can't use the service at all.
Is something up with Sandy?
I have a reply email that says my email and sms reminder was set for a particular time this morning. That come has come and gone and I received no reminder through either email or SMS.
I’m disappointed.
-
Inappropriate? What service provider are you 2 using?
-
Inappropriate?AT&T for the cell and comcast with gmail for internet.
I did receive a reminder via both email and text for a scheduled appointment this evening. -
Inappropriate?I received late notification at gmail this morning for 2 appointments The first was scheduled for 8:00a, second for 8:30a, and google says that they were received at 8:41 am.
I’m annoyed
-
Inappropriate?I actually received 2 of my 3 reminders yesterday, though the one that did arrive arrived late.
When I logged in to the Sandy site and checked my daily digest, only 2 of the 3 events had the bell/alarm icon next to them. I assume that is why I didn't receive the one.
However... the message that did NOT have the alarm icon had been sent in the exact format of the other s "r me at blahblahblah" and the confirmation email I received stated that I would be sent a remind and what time it would be sent.
I use gmail for email and Rogers for sms; I am configured for both sms and email reminders and in this case received neither.
Thanks in advance.
I’m unsure about Sandy's reliability.

Inappropriate? My SMS's are coming late, but I get my daily digest.
-
Inappropriate?I didn't get email or SMS reminders today. However, I did get the daily digest. Very frustrating. I actually had a contingency so I completed what I needed to. But, it's very frustrating to even need that contingency when Sandy used to be so reliable in the past.
Update: I use AT&T for my mobile service and gmail for email. I'm also being copied on my work email - didn't receive a notice through any channel.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I too am not getting regular SMS reminders. I use AT&T and I know there have been issues, but mine was working fine (and I haven't made any changes).
I went in and had a new confirmation msg sent to my phone and that worked too. However, I haven't received any SMS's.
I was loving Sandy for awhile, but she's letting me down. What's going on?
I’m unsure
-
Inappropriate?I have not received any reminders since I started actively using Sandy again a week or so ago. I'm using @email and @sms overrides to try and get things to me, but nothing seems to work anymore?
I’m undecided
-
Inappropriate?Yesterday I failed to receive at least one reminde (of course, it was the only reminder I actually needed). Later in the day I received a different one as scheduled.
This spottiness is a problem and I really feel it's making Sandy less attractive as a service.
On top of that, there's been very little responsiveness in this thread... though I see plenty of people who are reporting similar/identical problems.
I’m disappointed
-
Inappropriate?Sorry about that, I've replied in a few other threads about the same issue.
It's a known problem with early-morning reminders. More details are here. Are you seeing missing reminders at other times? -
Inappropriate? The most recent reminder I missed receiving was at 10a.m. so I imagine it should have been fine. Not only did I not receive the reminder, I didn't even receive confirmation of the reminder being created (which was done via email) until after the time the reminder was supposed to occur. I ended up receiving the reminder the next day.
I’m feeling let down.

Inappropriate? When did you send the email to create the reminder? I would guess it was during the 6-9am block. As your email was delayed from the load, and not processed until after then, If you didn't specify an explicit date then it would have been scheduled for the next upcoming 10am (the following day).

Inappropriate?Hi Yeraze...
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I set the reminder at about 6:30 a.m. that day. If the reminder if for the same day I don't believe you need to specify an explicit date but yes, the message getting processed after the time had passed would explain why it arrived the next day. No question about that.
The concern is, can I not trust any reminders I try to set between 6-9am? For me, and I would imagine many others, this is the most common time that I would have the need to set my reminders. That is when your day is starting and you are getting organized. -
Inappropriate? For now, setting reminders during that block to fire during that block is iffy.
You are fully able to set reminders during that time for later times. I frequently set reminders during that time for later in the week and such.
As mentioned before in other threads, Sandy is currently hiring new assistants to help better even the load. -
Inappropriate?I'm glad to hear about new assistants in the works but I hope it happens soon. I would think most people are like me and set reminders when it occurs to them. I can't schedule when they occur to me.
Any timeline on the hired/purchased help? -
Inappropriate?None other than soon.. Rael, who sign's Sandy's paychecks, has had a small home emergency so it's a bit held-up at the moment.
