Sandy doesn't import correctly when emailed an ics file

When I emailed the .ics file of my google calendar, everything got into Sandy's calendar except yearly events...seems like a bug.

ALSO, single day, all day events are listed as two day events, i.e Memorial Day is listed as spanning 5/26-5/27 instead of just 5/26
