Any plans to allow existing users to update their profiles with 'real' stats from their media player?

I use last.fm all the time (I am a subscriber too), but really wish I could see my charts reflect accurate listening history - the charts I see are really out of line with what iTunes itself would show. In fact, I created a new last.fm user, uploaded my data, and my main last.fm account has "low compatibility" with the "real" me!

I know that new users get the opportunity to upload their stats, but I would really prefer not to start a new profile (I subscribe, would prefer not to lose post/listen/friends/neighbours stats, etc).

Are there any plans to allow existing users to update their existing profiles? If not, what is the reason for not allowing it? I'd be happy to clear out my listening data and reupload if it was officially sanctioned.
