Different Artists with Same Name Problem
There are several artists that share the same name. Last.fm does not provide a solution for separating them. There should be a way for artists with the same name to have different Last.fm pages (also in favor of the artist).
Because when I want to listen to Sebastian's similar artists there is always some weird Swedish guy coming up that is not at all similar (except for the name ;) ).

Inappropriate?Unfortunately this is a very difficult problem to solve. However, it is something we are actively working on in the long run.
In the mean time, if you come across a track in your radio that is by the "other" artist, you could click Ban to prevent that track from appearing on your radio again. -
That helps when listening to Last.fm's library, but your profile is still going to be polluted with artist incorrectly named. One part of the solution is pretty obvious: You know that the American rapper has never released a tune called "Voodoo People" on the album "Music for the Jilted Generation", so when this song is wrongly scrobbled under the name "Prodigy" instead of "The Prodigy", you can just prepend "The" with 100% certainty that it will be correct. I'm pretty confident you can do this exact same thing with just about 99.99% of all naming collisions you have, because the combination of song and album title will, except for that 0.01%, be unique. And when it isn't unique, then just leave it as it is today and do nothing. It will still be 99.99% better than today.
