I cannot contact levis about a defective pair of jeans...

I paid $36.00 for a pair of jeans for my son. After only wearing and washing them once the jeans have worn a hole on the upper part of his thigh. This is not from falling or scraping himself up. On the knees perhaps but not on his upper thigh! For a product that is supposed to be superior in quality I find this unacceptable. Obviously I cannot return them to the store since they were worn, even if only once, and the tags were removed. I cannot find a way to contact levis themselves to express my opinion. Does anyone know of a way to contact them?
