Juice does nothing when I drag.
I try dragging text selections and dropping them on the juice panel or just on the page itself and nothing happens. Juice just sits there mocking me whith it's orange cup of goo.

Inappropriate?Hi! I'm sure Juice is not mocking you; it may just be a little bit confused by another plugin preventing it from working.
I hope you won't mind answering these questions, so we can try to find a solution for you: Does a Google search (using the search box) render any result in Juice? Have you tried right-clicking on your text selection and selecting the "Search Juice..." option from the context menu?
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Ohh I'm pretty sure it's mocking me... with that silly little grin and eyes tucked away from sight under the sombrero... :)
Juice s unfazed when I use Google search box and doesn't care that I ask it to search for stuff using the context menu either. If it doesn't get along with the rest of my extensions, maybe you guys can figure out which one it is. Here's a dump:

That's one mighty big list; thanks for sharing! We're keeping track of the 'evil' plugins that are messing with our sombrero dude. We'll post back if we find the culprit. -
Inappropriate?Quick update for you... apparently the sombrero dude found out I wasn't happy with him ignoring me and decided to do something. I just realized that I can drag media and Juice responds by storing them in the media view. I can interact with the media (play, copy, etc), but still no joy with highlighted text.
I’m amused
-
Same here. Can interact with media...but no search feature. Dragging and dropping does absolutely nothing. -
Thanks for sharing this. We're looking into it and hope to have it fixed soon. -
Inappropriate?Update. Have you disabled JavaScript or are you using any script blocking plugins, such as NoScript? Try enabling JavaScript or adding "addon.juiceapp.com" to the whitelist of the script blocking plugin.
I’m confident
-
I have javaScript enabled and have added addon.juiceapp.com to my whitelist and it did not make any difference. -
I've got JavaScript enabled and am not using any blocking plugins. -
Inappropriate?I don't have any script blocking plug ins and JavaScript is enabled
-
Inappropriate?Did you also restart Firefox? If yes and it still doesn't work, we'll keep looking.
I’m confident
-
Yepp, no change! -
Thanks for confirming. We'll keep looking. -
Inappropriate?Hi guys. We think, we've figured it out. But, would love to have your help in confirming this. We believe the problem, you have been experiencing, is being caused by one/multiple outdated DNS servers.
We'd like to ask you, if you could test the following and report the results back to us:
- Go to: http://addon.juiceapp.com/ping.jsp (what does it show)
- Ping www.juiceapp.com (what IP does it show)
- Ping addon.juiceapp.com (what IP does it show)
- Test text drag & drop in Juice (I know, this sounds obvious, but results may be different today)
Many thanks for your help!

I got the same results
- Go to: http://addon.juiceapp.com/ping.jsp - OK
- Ping www.juiceapp.com - 8.12.33.98
- Ping addon.juiceapp.com - 8.12.32.124
- Test text drag & drop in Juice - drag and drop text still does nothing. -
Inappropriate?I have the same problem, I disable the context search addon and juice start working just fine.
I am sorry for my english I am from Argentina and we speak spanish:D -
Inappropriate? No, that wasn ́t the problem. I removed the juice icon from the top (right) corner and I put it on my personal toolbar, and enable context search again to see what happens and It works.
So, I think that ́s the problem, you have to put the icon in other place to work with the plugins that you have. -
