can underwater photographs be used in Photosynth?
I know Photosynth has a problem with moving objects. However, willl it work with underwater photos? What about photos of coral reefs with fish moving? Will Photosynth ignore the fishes? They do have texture, so will Photosynth work then? Thanks for your help answering these questions.

Inappropriate? It should work underwater, I have seen a few underwater synths. I'm not an UW photographer so I can't speak to the specific challenges you'll face but it should work. Give it a try and let us know!
Photosynth tends to ignore moving objects so it shouldn't be a problem unless the fish are completely obscuring the background.
I’m interested to see your results

Thanks Ken. I'll give it a try and will let you know. -
Inappropriate?Search for "underwater" on the site to see a few tests, or see this one shot by a friend of mine, Greg McLaughlin.
(He didn't shoot it for Photosynth -- he keeps promising that he'll shoot for Photosynth on his next dive. Should be spectacular.)
