Flying to the place!
If a synth is located on the map (beautiful Virtual Eath) they're should be a tag or something to show it's done, and a possibility to see where it is located...

Inappropriate? If you created a synth, there's a little globe icon on the right panel that allows you to "geotag" it. That is, clicking on it will allow you to place it on a map so that everyone else can find it.
-
Inappropriate? My question was: how can everyone else find it? or maybe nobody never geotag his synth ...
It doesn't work for my own synths, if I want to see / control where I located them. -
Inappropriate?Quite like this idea, if you're browsing the synth via expore, it would be good to have an icon telling users a snyth has been geotagged. Could the globe be made yellow, as with favourites?
-
Inappropriate? The globe appears for everyone else when the synth is geotagged.
-
Inappropriate?Sorry Joshua, I wasn't very clear, what I meant was when you search for a subject under 'search synths' it would be nice if the synths listed had the globe icon showing they'd been geotagged - on the front page as it were. If there are numerous synths of a popular subject, users might want to go to a geotagged one first, particularly if the synth % is high.

Inappropriate?I'm coming back: about my first question, it was a mistake I did, maybe I'm not so smart ;-))) and I lost a lot of time; The fact is:
I tried to geotag in my city; the 'aerial' view was not so fine, so I used the 'bird's eye' which is much better. And it seems to be impossible to geotag in 'bird's eye' mode. (and you get no warning or error message).
(Could be transmited to the people of this lab???)
I agree with PGric.
I’m silly

Inappropriate?PGric: Good point. I seem to recall there might have been such a design originally, but it was dropped because having a bunch of different icons to was deemed too confusing.
I'll point our designers/ web developers at your suggestion.
Pierrot21: Sorry about not being able to tag in 'birds eye' . I'll look into that. -
Inappropriate?Hey PGric.
Just a heads up that your suggestion is being taken seriously by the website design team. No promises, but I think you might see such a feature in around two months.
