Link to the image directly

Hi, Breezest.

If you use the envelope icon ( ) it will give you a link to your exact current place in the synth. This includes what pixel the viewer is centred on, the current position and angle of the camera in space, how far zoomed in or out the camera is, and whether you are in 3D or 2D mode.

Using this function you can simply visit each of the photos you wish to link to, position the camera as you wish it to be loaded, and collect the link for that view. Making a list of these should get you what you want.

The problem right now is that you cannot hide links on a synth's description section within a shorter word or phrase, so all the long photosynth hyperlinks tend to hang out in the open and create quite a mess.

I read somewhere (I can't recall whether it was here at getsatisfaction or over at the official Photosynth forum) that the web team is working on an option to more easily share shortcuts to places of interest within the synth. I'm not sure if they'll allow us to put links within descriptive words or simply create a small thumbnail of each location that is linked to, but either would suit me fine.

In the mean time, you can use the email share icon to link directly to each image.
