Alphabetical order of author or title
I use Visual Bookshelf in Facebook, it's my fave application since I'm really a bookworm and I love taking note of the books I've read. Correct me or guide me if I'm ignorant but I'd rather my collection be arranged alphabetically so I could track it easily. There should be an option to arrange in alphabetical order whether it's by author or by title. I prefer the alphabetical list of authors.
I love Visual Bookshelf because as the term suggests, it's my online library. I'm the type who likes everything in order and as far as the collection is concerned, I see no option to arrange it in such a way.

As for arranging your collection, our developers are working on some experience upgrades which will provide additional personalization options for our users. Look for those in the coming months.
For now, each time you go to your collection (by clicking "My Collection" in your header) it will initially appear in the order in which books were added. To temporarily see your books listed by author, go into your collection. If you click on the "Author" heading, the books will sort alphabetically by author's first name (unfortunately at this time there is no way to sort by last name - although many of our users have expressed this wish, so we are looking into it). Similarly, the books will be listed alphabetically if you click "Title."
For a more permanent organization, you can also create a list (by clicking the "# Lists" link at the top of your collection), in which you can add and reorder books more to your liking.
