How can I detach myself from a collection I shan't make any use of?
Some time ago, when the landing page was nought but icons, I clicked on the various LivingSocial portals and appeared to be signed up to 'Beer' simply for being curious and wanting a look in. I'm not a beer drinker at all, yet I appear to have had a catalogue set up there since then.
It's not a major inconvenience, but how can I remove myself from this portal? I'm assuming, given that I don't yet have a 'Ski Slopes' or 'iPhone' collection, that my account does allow me only to subscribe to certain media portals. Therefore, can we be unsubscribed, and our existing 'Books', 'Movies', etc. accounts kept in tact?

Inappropriate?Hi Murray!
Thanks for contacting LivingSocial! If you are using the Facebook Application, you can remove the categories that you do not want by clicking "Applications" on the lower left corner when logged in to Facebook. Then click "Edit," and from there you can delete any unwanted applications by simply clicking the corresponding X to the right.
Let us know if you have any additional questions or excounter any problems while using our site.
Thanks!
Emma

Inappropriate?Oh, I'm fine with the removal of Facebook applications - it's the LivingSocial.com 'Beers' account I'd hoped to remove, although I'd understand if membership of LivingSocial as a whole automatically places me in every category, from 'games' to 'slopes'. I simply assumed, given that I have to sign in to each portal individually when my cookies are reset, that this might not be the case.
