List-overview

1
Prioritized topic handling

View a compact list of 30 topics at a glance and know just what to focus on next. Topics where your customers need attention are highlighted in bold. Setting the topic status to "complete" or "rejected" keeps them from showing up in bold again.

With our premium topic tools you'll be able to fully moderate and cultivate your community without sacrificing the transparency that your customers appreciate.

Topictools

1
Team Share

Email a link to a topic to any employee of your organization registered in Get Satisfaction, along with an optional note to explain why you are forwarding it. This tool is especially useful if you need to tap into the expertise of someone else in your organization to get the answer to a customer question.

Sharetopicwithteam

2
Inline Search

Search for other topics in your Get Satisfaction community from the topic tools interface. This is an essential tool for finding and linking to other topics.

3
Redirect

Because Get Satisfaction is driven by user-generated content, often several topics emerge that address multiple angles of a particular customer concern. With redirect, moderators can point similar topics to a single authoritative source, either on Get Satisfaction or anywhere on the Web. New customers will see a link to the redirected topic at the top of the page, but can still browse the old topic if they want.

Redirecttopic

4
Bury out-of-date topics

Sometimes, a topic is no longer useful as part of the community knowledge base. Use the "bury" tool to keep out-of-date topics from showing up in public search (though the content still exists and customers can still access it via a direct link.)

Burytopic

5
Remove topics

When a topic is spam or crassly commercial, contains private customer information, or uses inappropriate or abusive language, you can use this tool to remove it. To preserve transparency, we make a note of the removal in our Change Log (more about that below).

Removetopic

6
Edit topic titles

Use this tool to change or elaborate on unclear topic titles to make them more understandable and easier to find in search results — or just to correct a typo or misspelling.

Edittopictitle

7
Change Log

To preserve the spirit of openness and transparency Get Satisfaction is known for, all changes that you have made using the moderation tools appear in a public Change Log that all customers can access via the "Change Log" tab. Changes are organized chronologically based on when the change was made and contain a link to the affected topic along with the reason for the change.

Customers can also dispute changes that have been made. Get Satisfaction's community managers will review each dispute and work toward a fair and productive outcome.
