Is it possible to install Windows XP from hard drive?
Hello,
I have a netbook computer and the question is if it is possible to fully install Windows XP from hard drive partition by extracting the file install files from the CD to the hard drive, then make it bootable?
I have found one similar solution:

But it still requires a floppy disk to boot.
For Vista, there is a full working solution for installing it from hard drive:

I know it is not official, but I need it. Is it possible to install & boot XP from the hard drive?
Many thanks!

Inappropriate?I don't know, I believe it is possible to install xp from the hard drive as long as you are installing it to a different partition.
