mass mail over 100 friends
I tagged several hundred friends. Then I tried to add those friends to a mass mail. I was able to add 100 friends, but that's all. How do I add all friends with the tag?

Inappropriate?it's a really great question.....and for those friends who register with minggl (ie we have their email address), we have a solution that should be on our production servers in the next few weeks
But for your "non-minggl" friends, the problem occurs not with Minggl, but with the underlying social sites.
For all your friends who's email we DONT have, our only option is to rely on the underlying social site (eg Facebooke) to deliver the message
but each underlying social site has different anti-spam policies (myspace only allows 12 messages per day, Facebook 15 or so {last I checked}) and so our ability to email to large lists varies on which site those people hang out
we're considering implementing a queuing solution to get around their restrictions, but that obviously would not work for time sensitive messages and we'd also have to simultaneously put our own anti-spam protections in place
Please let us know your thoughts on how best to support your needs while not allowing people to use Minggl to spam others. -
Inappropriate? So if I send a mass mailing to 100 people, does it get delivered in 15 friends a day spurts?

Inappropriate?I dont want to be too specific for two reasons:
1) it depends upon what site your friends are at and whether they have registered for minggl (email available) or not
2) this is an area we are working on and thus it will continue to change for the better
But with that said, the feature as it exists today only works to send messages to a friend count AT OR BELOW the threshold of the site(s).
We don't have the queuing implemented yet (nor do we think its the best solution) and so its actually a bug that we allow you to add more friends (100) to the list than the underlying site permits.....
I'll create a ticket to change the page to reflect the current limit of message recipients...thanks for bringing this to my attention
can you describe your use-case to help us determine how frequently this high-recipient situation will exists? (helps us prioritize among many features)
are you a community manager or social marketer?? How often do you email 100+ people and how do you suggest we manage spam issues?
