Inappropriate?Strange, this usually means that the toolbar cannot connect to the Minggl Server. Are you on a network that requires a proxy server or anything else somewhat unusual?
-
Inappropriate?Yes, on a proxy server at work that probably also blocks certain websites. What is the connection that it is attempting? I will see if I can ping the url. Firefox automatically gets the proxy settings and other sites like twitter and facebook work fine.
I’m undecided
-
Inappropriate? The toolbar connects to app.minggl.com, I have heard other reports of proxy servers causing problems and will continue to investigate what we need to do to make things work.

Inappropriate?Seems like it's definitely a proxy problem. On other similar tools I can manually enter the proxy server to get them to connect.
-
Inappropriate? We've installed a proxy server in our testing environment and have confirmed there is a problem. Unfortunately I don't yet have an estimate on when we will have fix available. I'll try and announce it here when I know more. Thanks so much for your input.
-
Inappropriate?Rick, we had a problem while updating the server this morning causing our server to be unavailable for a short period of time. Everything is back up now.
I’m relieved
-
Inappropriate?I don't see any updates on the toolbar although all of them appear in the stream on the sidebar. I don't want to keep opening the sidebar though. I'd prefer seeing the updates from Facebook and/or Twitter in the toolbar itself.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Mansi, Please check your toolbar settings. Starting on the toolbar go to Menu/Settings Panel/mStream Settings. Make the the box for "Show mStream in Toolbar" is checked.
I’m happy
-
Inappropriate? It's been checked since the time I set up the account. I even reinstalled Minggl for Firefox but no luck -- still can't see the stream in the toolbar.
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate?Mansi, how often do you have your mstream set to update? Would you say that you get updates from your friends a lot during the day?
-
Inappropriate?I have it being refreshed every minute. And yes, I do have a lot of friends on Twitter with updates every minute or so. I've been using Digsby to keep track of their updates but it would be nice to get something integrated in the browser itself, hence the foray into Minggl-world :-)
-
Inappropriate?I don't have enough friends to get that many updates :)
Do you know of a twitter feed I can follow that gets a lot of updates? I'm trying to test this. Thanks.
