Rejected my username and passwords to add sites!!!!!!!
Every time I try to add a social network it tell me that I have supplied them with incorrect information when in fact I have given the proper username email and password? I have used both the correct username at the login site and the corresponding email addresses. I have tried this for both my facebook account and my linkedin account and both times I am given the same incorrect information warning bar. WHY?

Inappropriate? We are still working to figure out why some people are having this problem. Look for a new release in the next few days with at least better diagnostics. Thanks for your patience.
-
Inappropriate?I am having the same problem except it's not telling me anything, it's just not doing anything when I try to add an account. It will not work for Twitter or Digg with me.
I’m disappointed
-
Inappropriate?Guys....we're really sorry for those of you who are having this problem, but we believe it's related to discrepancies in the way that the sites identify certain users. Unfortunately, you guys fall into the small subgroup of people who's site specific identifiers are hitting a bug in our code. We've just pushed a bunch of new code to our test servers that should either solve the problem, or at least help us identify when and why it's happening. Once that code has been verified, we'll push it to the production (the one that you use) server.
I'd be very surprised if we don't have this resolved for you within the next 7 days. Thanks for your patience as we smooth out the remaining issues in this beta-test phase of the product.
I’m optimistic

Inappropriate?I am having same problem with flicker account ..
*The credentials you supplied are incorrect. Please try again.*

Inappropriate?Tahama---thanks for your message!! This is the first we've seen of this problem in over a month. I've got an engineer looking at it. If you don't mind, can you send information on your config to support at minggl.com
We'd like to know your email address, browser (IE or FF) and OS (XP, Vista, Mac Tiger, Mac Lepard, etc)
I’m concerned
-
Inappropriate?Melli,
Lets us know which sites are "all" (for you) and also which browser and OS you are using. Do you get the "incorrect credentials" or the "site already attached to another user" message?? -
Inappropriate?I'm having trouble getting Twitter to load - facebook and myspace were no issue. I receive the incorrect credentials message - which I've now triple checked. I'm on vista and firefox 3.05.
I’m disappointed.
-
Inappropriate? Thanks for the heads up, that does appear to be broken. I'm working on it, please stay tuned...
I’m confident

Thanks! Worked. Solid customer service. -
Inappropriate?I have the same problem with all the service that I tested
Always I obtained the same message:
"The credentials you supplied are incorrect. Please try again."
I tried it with Facebook, Myspace and twitter account in Windows XP & FF 3
My accounts are in Spanish: Facebook & MySpace and in English: Twitter
I don't think that will be good idea publish my email here
I’m disappointed
-
Inappropriate? Are you using non-english characters for username or password by chance? like Ñ or anything?
-
Inappropriate?Unfortunately we can't support MySpace in any language other than english at this time. I haven't looked at Facebook yet, but it's probably the same deal.
Twitter is working fine for me. Assuming you're using all english characters I'm not sure what the problem is. If you enable logging (Menu > Settings Panel > Toolbar > Check all under Logging) it'd be helpful. -

No, I don't use non-english character in my username. I have one dot in the middle of the name (xxxxxxx.xxxxxx@yahoo.es)
"If you enable logging (Menu > Settings Panel > Toolbar > Check all under Logging) it'd be helpful."
where is this Menu? in firefox, in minggl's site.
If is in the minggle toolbar I can't, because my toolbar appears as:
It is possible that your toolbar don't work with a proxy connection? -
Inappropriate?Sorry, I did mean to say the menu in the toolbar.
Our toolbar usually does not work behind proxies (currently) and if the toolbar has "No Connection," then adding sites will not work either. -
Inappropriate?Running into this problem using FF 3.0.11 on Win XP Home. Minggl ver is 0.52.119.
I'm getting the error "* The credentials you supplied are incorrect. Please try again." while attempting to configure my Facebook profile. LinkedIn, Flickr, Digg, MySpace, and Twitter all work fine.
I've tried the correct credentials several times (and the credentials work when logging directly into facebook).
I looked for the menu in the Minggl toolbar to enable logging but do not see where it may be. The menu I see has only the following choices: "Profile/Videos/Support/Sign Out".
BTW - This was working back when I 1st installed Minggl in March 2009. It stopped working about a month or so ago. I've ignored till now thinking it may fix itself. Hasn't happened and I'm frustrated since FB is the main app I use daily.

Perry---how long is your FB password?? I believe we have a bug if it exceeds 25 chars. Also confirm that FB has not asked you to complete any registration steps...you can see this error if you've not completed Facebook registration. -
Inappropriate?Hi Dewey - My password is 6 characters in length.
FB is not asking me to complete any registration steps. I've had the FB account longer than I've had Minggl.
Here's a curiosity: I tested this on a different FB account and that one does not show the bug. The password on that account uses 6 characters as well.
I’m undecided
-
Inappropriate?Perry,
If you don't mind, would you try temporarily changing your pw on the problem account and see if that changes anything. If it doesn't, please email us at "support" and we'll try to diagnose this with you directly.... -
Inappropriate?Hi Dewey, I already tried that last last night. It didn't fix the problem.
I’m undecided
-
I tried it today and I was able to successfully use Minggl to configure the facebook account. -
Inappropriate?I cannot add my facebook account to minggl. It gives me an error: "* The credentials you supplied are incorrect. Please try again.", although the credentials are correct..
I’m frustrated
