Is it true you're offering geared bikes now?
I heard a rumor that you're offering bikes with gears now. Which would make me incredibly happy, because unlike all you skinny Mission hipsters I live over in Alamo Square, which is separated from the Mission by a surprisingly steep hill.
So is it true? I wandered past the store the other day but didn't see a geared option on the display table. Is this something you're only offering to people in the know, like ordering my burger "animal style" at In-and-Out?
Say yes! Exciting.

Inappropriate?Hey Lane. It's true. We are now offering a 3 speed internal gear hub option.
It's a $100 upgrade. Grip shifters on the handle bars. Coaster brakes (in addition to a front brake). It adds about a pound to the bike, but our bike is still at least 5 pounds lighter than most 3 speed bikes in this price range.
The 3 speed hub is now on our light table and we've added the option to the website too.
We build this wheel from scratch so you do need to get the wheel upgrade.
The secret is out!
Jefferson
I’m relieved.
