Command List not working?
The command list doesn't seem to be showing new commands that I've installed and, therefore, I don't know how to delete them. Don't know if you guys are experiencing this problem or not but thought I'd let ya know.
Absolutely amazing product by the way and I'm working on add-ons for it right now.

Inappropriate? In my case, running Vista, I can type commands, but nothing happens (and the auto-suggest feature does not start).

Inappropriate?Yup same experience here. I made a command at http://danbri.org/2008/ubisg/ which seems to trigger the 'add a command' UI (in that the bar at top of page shows up, lets me add, and i can later remove it from the Subscriptions section of the help page.
The command simply doesn't work. However if I paste the exact same .js into the command editor, it does.
Re Adam's reply here, "I can type commands but nothing happens", this is something I'm also seeing, but only once I've entered bad javascript into the command editor. A browser restart fixes it (though the command-editor textarea might need clearing or the bug fixing to avoid triggering it again immediately).
To debug I've tried running the unit tests; I get:
Error in test testSandboxSupportsJs17: missing ; before statement (in chrome://ubiquity/content/sandboxfactory.js, line 23)
... and I've tried un-installing and re-installing, which did nothing useful. (Failed) subscriptions were somehow remembered across that process.
I'm in FF3 on MacOSX, Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070206 Firefox/3.0.1
I have a pile of addons, but i've disabled all the other ones.

Dan, thanks. A second restart of FF (after the mandated install restart) gets it working. -
Inappropriate?Actually there's two parts to this:
1.
"The command list doesn't seem to be showing new commands that I've installed and, therefore, I don't know how to delete them"
... that was also my initial reaction. Later I discovered that subscriptions are deleted from the "Subscribed Feeds" section of the about:ubiquity page, and *not* from chrome://ubiquity/content/cmdlist.html
... so you can still delete subscriptions.
2.
The real issue is that the commands aren't working at all; not only are they not listed, they don't respond.

Thank you. I've been able to get commands working that I subscribe to so I'm not quite sure what the problem is there but this completely cleared it up for me. -
Inappropriate?Adam, a 2nd restart didn't work for me (FF3/MacOSX). Initially I thought it had worked, then I realised I had a copy of the script in the command-editor screen. Can you confirm this isn't also the case with you?

Inappropriate?Discussion on the mailing list: http://groups.google.com/group/ubiqui... (thought it would be better off here).
Adding this to .htaccess worked for some people (but not me):
AddType application/x-javascript .js -
Inappropriate?I have the same issue. Subscribe works and I can use a command but doesn't show up in the command-list (no matter if it is my own command or from someone else). I'm running FF3 on a WinXP box, FWIW ;)
