Control-space doesn't trigger the ubiquity command window to pop up.
I just installed ubiquity and control-space doesn't trigger the ubiquity command window to pop up (Firefox 3.0.3/Vista SP1.). Under the options link, it says that my shortcut combination should be control-space. I've tried changing it to different combinations without success. I've restarted Firefox several times. Is this a bug or is there something I'm missing?

Inappropriate? Most probably the same problem as in Ubiquity doesn't work after update to 0.1.2 post.

Inappropriate? This problem, for me at least, is related to using a Chinese IME that defaults to having Control-Space as an activating hotkey.

34573.2's comment helped. I actually didn't realize that the Settings page was accesible (I was looking in about:config, and in the Add-on dialog settings, and not noticing that the about:Ubiquity page had a link for Settings). -
Inappropriate?I solved it by changing the shortcut on the settings page. alt-space called a menu in Linux so I used the meta+space (windows) key instead

1.Install ubiquity
2.type in the browser the following: chrome://ubiquity/content/settings.xhtml
3.on the right u will find the "Key Combination" options, from there u can adjust which key combination can invoke ur ubiquity instance.
